She was sitting not even 2 meters from where we get out of the car. I could have touched her.

Bloody flees! They are bad this year!

Saturday, March 10, 2007

I love the view towards the sandblow. It looks different everyday. The powton is loosing its blossoms and the light is getting a little warmer towards the evening.
Using the Voigtlaender snapshot sets you back 50m years. No complicated settings and since the auto whitebalance works now quite good there is only the aperture to consider and the focus set to 3m.

Ellie wie sie leibt und lebt. Dafuer ist das Planar unschlagbar.

Thursday, March 08, 2007

This was a good test for the new (old) Canon 50/1.4. I have to go back and try it with the other two 50s. Its better than photographing test charts.

This is a panorame taken with the 50mm Zeiss Planar ZM hand held and stiched in Photoshop CS3. Quite amazing what software can do.

Even on an average day Noosa beach has quite alot to offer. Posted by Picasa
I come to the mouth of the Noosa River not as often as I want to. Its been awhile, so I was quite surprised what I found when I went there on the weekend. The landscape (river scape) has completely changed and one can now cross the river at low tide without swimming. There is lots more room on new sandbanks for all the families who have now a perfect play ground. Posted by Picasa
This Blue Crane (some sort of Heron) is a long term resident on Noosa River. He is a lazy fellow, he is always after some scraps, steels bait from the the fishermen Posted by Picasa
